Named as the Celerio X, the car will mark the arrival of Maruti Suzuki’s entry into the mobile industry with a bang, without any real competition. The launch date is expected to be around October 4, 2017.
The Celerio will be unique on account of its styling. The Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been, no doubt, a best-selling car for India’s largest car maker convenient and comfortable vehicle to ride in. The Celerio was the first and foremost car in the lineup of the Maruti that has no doubt received the AMT or perhaps as the company usually refers to it as AGS (Auto Gear Shift) and also has a 2-cylinder diesel engine.
Few of the other popular car brands in India are the Hyundai i20 Active, the Fiat Aventura, and the Toyota Etios Cross, which are rather more expensive than the Celerio X. The Celerio X cross-hatch will be getting a set of some plastic claddings that will be run around the car, which includes the side of the skirts as well as the wheel arches. The Celerio X will also be able to get a set of new bumpers that will consist of a black plastic cladding along with some brushed silver accents located.

Specifications of Maruti Suzuki Celerio X :
- 1.0-litre K-series 3-cylinder petrol engine.
- No plans of bringing in the low-capacity 800cc 2-cylinder Diesel engine back to operations.
- The petrol engine outputs a decent power-torque of 67 BHP-90 Nm.
- Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT automatic. Both these options will be available on the X model.
