Digital marketing is broad term that describes the set of marketing processes that utilize all obtainable digital channels to promote the product or service or to build a digital brand. Digital marketing has come to succeed with traditional marketing and transition from paper & newspaper ads to Facebook and PPC campaigns.
The channels that build up digital marketing include: Web sites, email marketing, mobile marketing, Social media platforms, Banner placement, SEO, pay per click campaigns, SMS, billboards, Web TV, and anything else with the digital foundation.
Internet Marketing channels are Website, Search Engine marketing, Mobile marketing, Banner Advertising, Content marketing, Email marketing.
