Xolo Cube 5.0 with Android Lollipop launched at Rs 8,000

Indian handset manufacturer, Xolo has launched a smartphone called Xolo Cube 5.0 for Rs 7,999. The smartphone is available in white, black and gold colours. It is just 6.9 mm thick (dimension: 143 x 71 x 6.9 mm).

The Xolo Cube 5.0 has a 5 inch display that offers high definition resolution (1280×720 pixels). This IPS display has five point touch input. It is powered by a 1.3 Ghz quad core processor (Mediatek 6582M), Mali 400 MP GPU, and 1 GB RAM.

Armed with the latest Android 5.0 aka Lollipop operating system, the Xolo Cube 5.0 offers 8 GB of built in storage and 32 GB of expandable storage slot. The smartphone offers an 8 mp rear camera with flash light and a 2 mp front camera. The rear camera comes with full HD video recording facility apart from HDR, burst shot, panorama, face recognising, and voice capturing abilities too.

Besides, the dual SIM Xolo Cube 5.0 has 3G, GPS”>AGPS, micro USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi (b/g/n), accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. The handset has a 2100 mAh battery that claims to offer 11 hours of talktime or 466 hours of standby on 3G networks.
